SUMMARY: Responsible for establishing and executing on VSG’s global supply chain strategy including supply/demand planning, Inventory planning, forecasting, sourcing, fulfillment, warehousing and logistics. Reports to the President and works closely with VSG global leadership team and regional supply chain directors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Refine and implement global SIOP process.
- Design, develop, and implement integrated supply chain and logistics solutions that optimize quality, efficiency on-time delivery, and cost.
- Develop and implement inventory management systems and logistics strategies ensuring on-time deliveries meeting customer requirements, optimum inventory levels, and lower carrying costs and transportation charges.
- Monitor and report on emerging industry trends; current issues and share insights with leadership.
- Develop supplier partnership processes that build relationships with our supplier partners through mutual accountability delivering customer value.
- Lead the development of annual budgets across all areas of supply chain and logistics, while holding self and team accountable for delivering year on year improvements.
- Lead and develop the global teams including coaching and development.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet international legal requirements and standards.
OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS – Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Preferred experience in multi-national, industrial automotive or adjacent companies
- Experience managing global supply chain operations background
- Minimum 10 years managing and leading people
- Self-motivated work ethic with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Leadership skills, specifically leading & driving change
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinker
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
