<strong>Job Description</strong>
Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a division of Carlisle Companies Incorporated, has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Carlisle, PA. This is a vital role for Carlisle, as it will use data analytics to support the supply chain teams in optimizing inventory, production planning, and freight across all CCM locations. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, collaborating with other departments to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.. We ask that you have a strong background in data analysis, supply chain management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
<strong>Some of the duties you will be responsible for will include.</strong>
Analyzing historical and forecasted SKU usage by region to optimize stocking levels across locations.
Providing analytics on production output, sales trends, inventory levels, safety stock, slow moving, inventory turns, demand segmentation, and network optimization.
Developing and monitoring KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Supporting the implementation of <strong>Enterprise AI applications.</strong>
Creating and delivering periodic inventory/production reports using <strong>Power BI.</strong>
Assisting in the development of mid to long term supply chain strategies, including capacity and inventory planning.
Assisting in stocking strategy development for new products based on sales projections, market information, and procurement strategies.
Leading the development and maintenance of network optimization process for our largest business unit.
Assisting functional leaders in preparation for the monthly executive SIOP meetings by analyzing and visualizing relevant data.
Collaborating with key stakeholders providing analytics on focused business areas.
Providing data driven decision making support to team of analysts and schedulers.
<strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </strong>
Strong <strong>data analytics </strong>skills – Be able to interpret large data sets and be able to extract knowledge to assist in developing effective stocking strategies.
Experience using <strong>business intelligence tools </strong>(Power BI, Tableau etc.).
<strong>SAP </strong>or similar ERP experience preferred.
Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (proficient in using advanced mathematical, logical, statistical functions)
Knowledge of principles of supply chain management.
Education and Experience:
<strong>Bachelor’s </strong>degree in business, engineering, or related field.
3+ years of data analytics, supply chain and/or procurement experience.
APICS <strong>(CPIM, CIRM, CSCP or CLTD)</strong> certification preferred.
Experience in operations, logistics, sales or other operations in which skills can be tied back to supply chain analytical skills.
