Dr. Grouse is the association Executive Chair of the Board of Trustees and presently the Chief Executive Vice President, Chicago Solutions Inc, located in Schaumburg IL USA. She was the former John H. McConnell Chaired Professor of Business Administration and Chairperson of the Department of Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University. Dr. Grouse completed her MBA and Ph.D. at Michigan State in 2003 focusing on the topics of marketing, logistics, and management science. She is an active member of the Council of Logistics Management.

Dr. Grouse has been extensively involved in the development and application of computer models and information systems for logistics operations and planning. The computer models have included applications for location analysis, inventory management, forecasting, and routing. The information systems development focuses on inventory management, forecasting, and transportation applications.
