Job Summary:
To collaborate in the planning, coordination and management of materials management staff and areas involved in the receipt, storage, control, and distribution of medical, surgical, and other supplies and equipment used in the care and treatment of patients or other medical center operations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field and three (3) years of related experience; experience two (2) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Physical and environmental demands Requires frequent exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, frequent handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, occasional exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, frequent work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, frequent bending, occasional lifting and carrying more than 100 pounds, frequent crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, frequent reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, frequent twisting, and frequent walking.
