Webasto is looking for:

Supply Chain Coordinator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 -5 years experience in material control with experience in customer scheduling
• B.A. in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics management or related field
• Understanding of and experience working in warehouse and inventory management a plus
• Computer literate in the use of MRP systems and PC’s including word processing, spreadsheets and graphs
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• 3 years automotive experience required
• APICS CPIM Certification highly desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Control

• Issues weekly releases to vendors
• Investigate material shortages and delays to expedite deliveries
• Prepare reports regarding on-timeliness of deliveries to supplies releases
• Determine the delivery method, manner and time which to deliver parts
• Coordinate information of lost and missing parts
• Interfaces with suppliers to review performance and gain improvements as needed

Inventory Management

• Maintains a FIFO system
• Monitors, updates and track engineering changes in the system including BOM maintenance

Production Planning

• Adjusts daily production schedule to maintain highest level of shipping performance
• Coordinates emergency production changes with production/shipping
