Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead and drive global supply chain projects, shared services, and initiatives across all aspects of the supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for process improvement, documentation, training, and team management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency, optimize processes, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in project management, process optimization, and team development.

 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee strategic supply chain projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from different functions within the organization to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely execution and delivery of project outcomes.
  • Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify opportunities for optimization, streamlining, and automation.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective processes that enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and increase overall supply chain performance.
  • Employ industry best practices and methodologies to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead and manage a team of shared services personnel and process improvement technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional growth.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for newly established or revised processes, ensuring that standardized procedures are well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions to educate team members and stakeholders on new processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Build and manage a team of project managers responsible for executing various supply chain initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain processes and projects.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project progress, process enhancements, and KPI achievements to senior management.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in supply chain project management, process improvement, and operational excellence within a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and methodologies to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, demonstrated by successful experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in change management and driving cultural transformation within an organization.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar is a plus.

Pay Rate: $86,815.00 – $138,904.00
