Location: Racine, Wisconsin
The Sr. Analyst, Scheduler (Supply Planning) is responsible for the data accuracy and timely entry in our supply chain transactions. This role supports North America (US, Canada, and Puerto Rico) and manages all aerosol production lines. The role is responsible for carrying out projects to streamline supply chain transaction processes and also to improve the ways of working with our key stakeholders, such as manufacturing. The Sr. Analyst, Scheduler (Supply Planning) collaborates closely with supply planners and other functional teams to execute large amount of data analysis in order to respond to our business needs in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive results through adherence to core planning processes and policies
- Recommend and drive continuous improvement in the Production Scheduling planning process
- Cross functional collaboration to ensure plans are accurate and achievable
- Create & update available production capacity
- Collaborate w/MFG to develop optimal run strategies: balancing inventory, CFR, capacity, and production efficiency
- Planning board usage
- Serve as liaison between planning and manufacturing, optimizing schedule to meet all objectives
- Weekly sequencing to align scheduling wheel & capacity; Minimizing change overs & maximizing planning efficiencies
- Escalate capacity risks to the Supply Interface roles or planning managers whilst identifying options to drive resolution
- Measure, analyze, and communicate key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators, while driving continuous improvement
- Available for immediate resolution of production questions to ensure lines continue to run
- Support Continuous Role Documentation updates and onboarding of new schedulers and planning personnel
- Drive key metrics, including:
- Business & process KPI’s, including schedule adherence, case fill rate, inventory turns
- Wheel breaks – reducing occurrence and escalating to MFG for approval as needed
- Frozen horizon schedule change reductions
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- University/Bachelor Degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience OR advanced degree with 1-3 years relevant work experience. Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Process improvement proficiency, e.g. root cause understanding, lean methodology, etc
- Quantitative/qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
- Effective communication and collaboration to all levels and stakeholders
- SAP experience/knowledge (planning related module)
- 2+ years Supply Chain/Business experience
- High level proficiency with Microsoft applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
- Demonstrated results working in a team-based, cross functional environment
- Experience in the CPG industry
- APICS Certification; CSCP, CPIM, CLTD
