This position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Planning in determining the resources required to product quality production in a timely, cost-effective manner, working under the supervision of the Materials Manager. The position maintains collaborative relations with internal and external suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule and monitor Production load to optimize efficiencies, and monthly production rates
• Communicate and coordinate Production to ensure we service customer’s needs (Back Orders)
• Reconciling SAP production order errors, inventory discrepancies
• Creation and monitoring of Bill of Materials and Routings for responsible Material Groups
• Costing of new materials, and updating costing of current items
• Research and correction of Variances
• Communication with other departments to coordinate materials for production to achieve on-time delivery to customers
• Manage Material Master for updates and Engineer Revisions
• Monitors material inventory, tracking purchase order delivery date

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3+ years in supply chain management, production planning, and/or materials planning
• APICS certifications are preferred.
• SAP or similar ERP platform experience is required.
• Intermediate-to-advanced user in Excel, and Word and excellent general computer skills required.
• Strong analytical skills are essential to this position
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings
• Influences employees within function to enable decision making.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Delivers results with minimal supervision
