Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Supply Chain Specialist to join our team located in either Oklahoma City, OK or San Antonio, Texas.
Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2:
- Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
- Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders
- Processes material returned from customers
- Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance
- Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims
Position Responsibilities – Mid-Level 3:
- Analyzes post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases
- Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action
- Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system
- Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs
- Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies
- Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position is for 1st or 2nd shift.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience in supply chain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and manufacturing planning
- More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in a role requiring strategic planning
- More than 3 years of experience in project management
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate-Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range Associate level 2: $59,500 – $78,750
Summary pay range Mid-Level 3: $74,800 – $99,750
