How to Take an In-Person Exam and Become Chartered with AAPSCM®
If you don’t already have an account, register as a Student Member on the AAPSCM® platform. Use an active and valid email address during registration, as this will be the primary mode of communication for your exam results and certification status. Student membership requires a one-time fee of $49.99.
Step 2: Schedule Your Exam
Log in to your AAPSCM® account and email admin@aapscm.org to schedule your exam. You may also visit an affiliate partner near you to arrange training, purchase course materials, or obtain brochures (optional). If you need assistance finding an affiliate partner, email info@aapscm.org for a referral to an institution nearby.
Step 3: Review Testing Policies and Procedures
Before taking the exam, all candidates must agree to the AAPSCM® Candidate Agreement during the sign-in process. Failure to accept the agreement will result in forfeiture of the exam fee. Review the AAPSCM® Testing Policies and Candidate Agreement before your exam date to familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures.
Step 4: Check Into the Test Center and Take Your Exam
Arrive at your designated affiliate partner’s test center at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This allows sufficient time for required check-in procedures, including:
- Identification: Bring two valid forms of ID, as outlined in the Candidate ID Policy.
- Security Protocols: Personal items such as bags, books, notes, electronic devices, and smartwatches are prohibited in the testing room. Some centers provide secure storage areas, but confirm this with your selected affiliate partner beforehand.
- Authentication: A photograph will be taken at check-in to ensure security and proper authentication as part of AAPSCM® testing policies.
