About Us
The American Association of Procurement, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, and Tourism Management (AAPSCM®) was accredited by the US Congress in 2021 and granted a charter by the State of South Carolina, with IRS approval to operate as a non-profit chartered organization. As the only organization of its kind in the combined fields of procurement, supply chain, e-commerce, and tourism management, AAPSCM® is also registered in Texas as a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. These designations affirm AAPSCM®’s legal status, governance structure, and responsibilities, which include:
- Establishing and upholding professional standards and qualifications.
- Regulating Membership to ensure adherence to a strict code of ethics and defined criteria.
- Awarding certifications and credentials to signify professional competence.
- Enforcing disciplinary measures to ensure accountability and maintain high standards of practice.
In addition, AAPSCM® is recognized as a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is a candidate for accreditation with the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). These affiliations validate the organization’s credibility and enhance its authority to govern and represent the interests of its professional community.
