Lucifer Lighting has an opportunity for a driven, hands-on, and highly proficient Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will effectively lead and motivate shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams in the day-to-day operations to ensure production and customers’ needs are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and guide teams to execute daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse requirements, and throughout shift monitor progress and resolve issues as they arise to ensure high level performance
  • Adjust personnel assignments as needed among shipping, receiving, and warehouse to accomplish all daily requirements
  • Monitor daily incoming and outgoing product and ensure company stays on schedule
  • Strategically plan and collaborate with other teams and departments to improve warehouse work processes to ensure operational excellence
  • Maintain documentation and operational metrics with relevant data to ensure department measures effectively reflect performance and progress to attain goals and objectives
  • Perform team member performance management tasks to include reviewing, adjusting, and approving payroll; reviewing and deciding upon time-off requests; team training and development; performing formal performance evaluations; executing discipline as needed; and identifying and developing a pipeline of leads
  • Order supplies and goods as needed, including product packaging
  • Manage product inventory throughout the year and for the annual physical inventory to ensure accuracy

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Five plus years of experience in managing warehouse teams
  • Competence in warehouse operations in support of manufacturing/production processes
  • Competence with inventory and supply chain management
  • Competence working with warehouse management systems, ERP or MRP systems
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and data entry systems
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, be flexible to change, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Competent collaborator, communicator, and team player

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in business preferred

Working Environment:
